Park Ridge police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:40 AM Friday to a report of crash with injuries at Des Plaines Avenue and Hamlin Avenue Park Ridge, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a school bus was involved in a rollover crash
A Park Ridge Fire Department engine crew on arrival reported a school bus overturned on its side with people standing near the crash scene. The crew also reported an SUV wrecked in the middle of the intersection.

9-1-1 callers reported students were evacuating the bus, but fire crews on the scene reported five staff members were on the bus. Later it was confirmed that there were four passenger and the bus driver that were involved in the rollover bus.
All patients were transported from the scene by 8:17 a.m. As a precaution, the patients were transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Resurrection Hospital with minor or no injuries.
A male 17-year-old driver, who was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, and three passengers did not present injuries immediately after the crash.
