VIDEO: Firefighters extinguish a utility pole fire in the backyard of a home on Highland Avenue near Elm Street in Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:45 PM Sunday to a report of a utility pole and transformer on fire in the block of 900 North Highland Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a utility pole was on fire in a backyard.

Estimated restoration time is 1:00 a.m., which was updated to a restoration time of 11:45 p.m. by about 10:00 p.m.
