Palatine police received a report about 8:56 PM Sunday of a stolen auto from the parking lot at Taco El Norte, 1324 North Rand Road Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender took a silver 2002 Lexus with temporary registration.
Suspect was described as a male/Hispanic, age 25, wearing a black shirt with Bugs Bunny on it.
The stolen vehicle was last seen on southbound Route 53 from Rand Road. The suspect was captured by 9:40 p.m.
The crime was reported to have occurred at 8:55 p.m.
