Fox 32 News Chief Meteorologist Bill Bellis was out at Windsor Elementary School with Dr Amy Brodsky promoting sun safety to about 460 students on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Amy Brodsky, MD is a board certified in Dermatologist and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B. S. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She earned a medical doctorate from the University of Chicago in 1998 where she was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society and graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Brodsky’s primary dermatology office, located at 2601 Compass Road, Suite 125 in Glenview. Comprehensive cosmetic, medical and acne treatments for patients are also provided by the team of Dr. Amy Brodsky and Dr. Jessica Borowicz at a Park Ridge dermatology office.
Meteorology is a stressful job in Chicago with wide fluctuations in temperatures, viewers dissatisfied with “unseasonably cold” days in Spring, unending snow days, and wicked hot days in July and August. In December 2014, Bellis was caught relieving some stress on camera, and flipping the bird just before the start of the 9 p.m. newscast. He apologized to viewers after it was discovered that the gesture was broadcast. Here’s the video:
