VIDEO: Jackknifed truck off of northbound Route 53 just south of Palatine Road near Palatine.
Illinois State Police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:16 AM Friday to a report of a rollover truck crash at Route 53 and Palatine Road, Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a semi-trailer truck rolled over, but on arrival reported the truck was jackknifed.
Apparently no injuries, and fire units cleared the scene within about 20 minutes.
Heavy tow trucks were needed for the jackknifed truck. The crash breached a fence near the Cul de Sac of East Baronet Lane just east of Lancelot Lane in Palatine.
Tower Ladder 85, Ambulance 83 and Battalion Chief 8 were on the scene.
