Glendale Heights police and Bloomingdale firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:42 AM Monday to a report of a kl 1883 Gregory Avenue Glendale Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crashed into a house and trapped a resident under his bed.

Firefighter/paramedics freed the victim by 1:14 a.m. The vehicle in the crash was a taxi cab, and the driver fled the scene on foot.
The driver is described as a male/Hispanic last seen wearing a gray shirt or sweatshirt.
Police activated a K-9 search in the area. As of 5:45 a.m. there was no word that any suspects were in custody.
