Tense moments during protests in Chicago Thursday night.
A peaceful protest over Grand Jury decision on the chokehold death of Eric Garner briefly turned chaotic, as police pushed protesters off Lake Shore Drive.
The protest situation was also tense near Wacker and Michigan, and near Union and Roosevelt when protesters tried to get on I-90/94.
The first protest arrest of the day for Friday at Congress and Dearborn already occurred at 1:47 p.m. Protesters are being warned by police on loudspeakers not to block the streets. Three people were arrested by 2:05 p.m. Friday.
Crowd problems were also reported at Congress and Dearborn just before 2:00 p.m.
