Illinois State Police and Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:47 AM Tuesday to a report of multiple crashes near Route 53 and Algonquin Road Schaumburg, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of numerous crashes near Route 53 interchanges at Algonquin Road and at Interstate 90.
One car was in the ditch off a ramp. Nearby a crash on northbound Route 53 caused the blockage of all northbound lanes. Possibly one injured in this crash.

Next, crash was reported involving a light pole near the ramp from northbound Route 53 to eastbound Euclid Avenue. The crash did not involve any injuries, but the crash caused roadway blockage because of parts of the light pole down.
At about 8:56 a.m. a crash was reported at Route 53 with a car in the ditch near the ramp from northbound Route 53 to eastbound Palatine Road.
Air temperature was about 43°F at 8:50 a.m.
