The St. Peter Lutheran School boys varsity volleyball team placed 2nd at the LSA State Tournament in Springfield, IL on November 7-8. This is the highest the boys team has ever placed in the history of the tournament! The boys went 3-2 over the weekend with both losses against the tournament champion — Bethany Lutheran School from Naperville.

Seventh grader Sam Mayo was named to the all-tournament team. Their weekend accomplishment capped off a wonderful season in which the boys went 14-6 and were named the Northwest Suburban Lutheran Conference Champions. The Saints are coached by Steven Kay and the team includes Nick Pagones, Neal Bergman, Sam Mayo, Luke Picchiotti, Kyle Orton, Ken Granell, Nick Buckner, Trevor Schutz, and Andy Bartusek.
