Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:42 AM Friday to an activated fire alarm at Nino’s Pizzeria 960 South Buffalo Grove Road Buffalo Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics on arrival reported no smoke showing, but reported that workers were on the roof.
Fire command learned of a small fire on the roof and upgraded the call to an actual fire response.
Arlington Heights Fire Department Engine 4’s crews hooked up to a hydrant at the rear of the building and Buffalo Grove Tower Ladder 25’s crew investigated the roof.
The fire was extinguished by 9:00 a.m. and Buffalo Grove Engine 26’s crew and Arlington Heights Engine 4’s crew were returned by 9:04 a.m.
No confirmation, but it does not appear that business operations were affected or will be affected by the incident.
