Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:54 AM Friday to a trouble with the alarm system at Olive-Mary Stitt School, 303 East Olive Street Arlington Heights, IL. Firefighter/paramedics responded to the school and discovered a power outage in the area.
Olive, Thomas, and Windsor schools are closed. Families were notified of closing by phone and by text early Friday morning.
ComEd is reporting 774 customers are affected by a power outage — possibly investigating trouble at Oakton Street and Dryden Avenue. The estimated restoration time is 7:45 a.m.
