Kaci Hickox is facing a mandatory quarantine in Maine after treating Ebola patients in West Africa. Jean Casarez reports.
She was held in a tent at Newark Liberty Airport with full support and Internet access. She had a false positive reading for fever and has had no symptoms. The nurse does not believe should be quarantined because she has not symptoms, but critics argue medical professional have been careless so far in following any self-quarantine guidlines. One nurse, who was exposed in Dallas, flew on a commercial passenger plane to Cleveland and back to Dallas with a low grade temperature. A physician also lied about his whereabouts in New York City during the days before his symptoms developed, and days before he was confirmed to have contracted Ebola.
Norman Siegel, the attorney for nurse Kaci Hickox, says his client will not adhere to quarantine restrictions.
