Arlington Heights police responded about 11:36 PM Friday to a report of criminal trespass or burglary in progress at Public Storage 20 East University Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report from a witness that a subject was standing on the hood of a white sedan and was then climbing over a fence on the northeast side of the commercial storage property.
The witness then reported that the offender or offenders then moved their vehicle out of sight because police were on a traffic stop on the S-curve of Arlington Heights Road.

A white sedan, possibly a 2006-2010 model Dodge Charger, was stopped by police at the front of the business on University Drive about 11:50 p.m.
Police investigated the subject(s) associated with the vehicle. There was no word on any arrests or charges.
Access hours for customers at the storage facility are Monday through Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
