Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:20 AM Monday to multiple crashes and a reported car vs bicycle hit-and-run Palatine Road and Schoenbeck Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and reported a crash in the eastbound express lanes of Palatine Road at Schoenbeck Road.
Several vehicles were reported with front-end damage and rear-end damage.
Next, at about 6:55 am police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a child on a bicycle was hit by a car. A caller reported the car fled the scene and the child got up on his bike and headed toward MacArthur Middle School.
Paramedics on the scene report no patient on the scene. The child was reported to be a male/white about 14-years-old, wearing dark clothing and riding a bike.
Northwest Central Dispatch System notified the MacArthur Middle School of the reported incident.
