Des Plaines police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:04 p.m. Monday to a report of a motorcycle crash at the entrance to Oakton Community College at Golf Road. Rescuers received a report that the motorcyclist’s leg was trapped under the vehicle. Within a few minutes the 23-year-old crash victim was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:38 p.m.
The motorcyclist was identified as Arkadiusz Krzemien — a resident of Niles.
