Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:44 PM Wednesday to the Miner Learning Center, 1101 east Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of an assault at the school that also involved staff and students injured with bites from the offender.
Firefighters initially staged near the scene while police secured the scene. First responders received a report that an aggressive student was still on the scene.

Miner Learning Center is located across the field from Windsor School at Windsor Drive and Miner Street.
Several police squads, an ambulance, extra fire personnel, and a battalion chief were called to the scene. No confirmation whether any victims were transported to a hospital.
