While Memorial Day is the time for remembering the fallen soldiers of the United States Armed Forces, it is also the unofficial start of the summer season. The Mount Prospect Jaycees civic group is hosting a Memorial Weekend Carnival May 22nd-26th to begin the summer season we’ve been missing.
After a three year hiatus, the Mount Prospect Jaycees Memorial Weekend carnival will be returning to its roots at Mount Prospect Plaza, Mount Prospect.
The Mount Prospect Jaycees will be holding a carnival in Mount Prospect Plaza Memorial Day 2014 weekend with rides, food, and all the fun you remember from years past. The Jaycees are pleased to team up once again with Fantasy Amusement Company and our new property management partner, Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust in producing this carnival for families in Mount Prospect and surrounding communities. The Mount Prospect Plaza is in the Northeast corner of Rand and Central roads.
The event will take place May 22 – 26 during the following hours, weather permitting:
Thursday, May 22nd. 6pm – 11pm
Friday, May 23rd 6pm – 12am
Saturday, May 24th 1pm – 12am
Sunday, May 25th 1pm – 12am
Monday, May 26th 1pm – 11pm
Tickets will be sold individually during all operation hours and unlimited ride bracelets will be available on Thursday 6-close, Saturday 1pm – 5pm, Sunday 1pm – 5pm, and Monday from 1pm – 5pm.

20 tickets for $20
$20 Unlimited ride bracelet $1 discount on bracelet with a canned food donation. Max donation per person $2.
The Mount Prospect Jaycees are a non-profit civic group that emphasizes community service, social networking and leadership development for young adults ages 18-40. The Mount Prospect Jaycees welcomes guests, prospective members, and new members on the second Tuesday of each month.
