Residential Burglary on Lincoln Ct North of Thomas St Near Dryden, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Thursday of a residential burglary in the block of 1500 Lincoln Court Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that unknown offender(s) gained entry to the residence via an unlocked second floor window on the northeast corner of the home while a family was on vacation. The family discovered the unsecured/partially open second floor window when they arrived home from vacation.

Police also received a report that a family member was watching the home, and noticed a front door deadbolt was not secured and that the door was partially open.

The offender(s) left behind empty containers (including four empty styrofoam cups) and bottles in the residence. The offender(s) also rearranged furniture in the basement.

The offender(s) took some prescription medication, but no other items of value were reported to have been taken.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
