Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:26 PM Sunday of a residential burglary in the block of 99 East Burr Oak Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender(s) gained entry to the residence via an unlocked second floor window near the northwest corner of the house.
The front door did not appear to be damaged.
Reported missing was an Xbox game system valued at $100, several Xbox games valued at $100, a jar of coins and paper currency valued at $150, a black wallet valued at $30, a black briefcase of unknown value , and an unknown number of jewelry pieces of unknown value.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 6:00 a.m. and Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 9:25 p.m.
A recent burglary was reported “in progress” on East Burr Oak near Arlington Heights Road on November 12, 2013 at about 1:10 p.m. The offenders were seen fleeing the scene when resident(s) arrived home, but were never captured.
