Schaumburg police responded about 9:01 PM Thursday to an armed robbery at 1235 East Higgins Road Schaumburg, IL. Police received a report that a male/white offender was the offender in an armed robbery at the Target Store Pharmacy. The offender demanded Adderall while implying he had a weapon. No weapon was displayed.
The suspect is reported to be a male/white, age 25, 5’10” with a thin build, wearing an orange and white hat and dark jacket. The offender was reported to be carrying a dark duffel bag.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 9:00 p.m.
Adderall — also known as amphetamine mixed salts — is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy.
Amphetamine is considered to have a high potential for misuse, and amphetamine salts can be crushed and snorted, or dissolved in water and injected.
