Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] shows Lake Snow Effect at the lake shore along the central and south side of Chicago, Cicero, Oak Lawn, Hammond, and Gary. Up to one inch of snow has been reported near the Lake Michigan shoreline and in these areas. The next chance for precipitation in the northwest suburbs is snow with accumulation of about one inch falling from 7:00 p.m. Monday until 6:00 a.m.Tuesday.
Significant weather in the forecast includes a 15 mph gusty wind from the south southeast all day Sunday until about 7:00 p.m., unseasonably cold temperatures, and the snowfall Monday Night.

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 17 from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light northwest after about 2:00 a.m. and shifting from the west and then southwest by 9:00 a.m. Clouds forecast to increase gradually after 2:00 a.m.
