Chicagoland weather radar shows snow passing to the south in Central Illinois — south of Dixon, south of Aurora, and south of Kankakee at about 9:30 a.m. A little snow could shower over Kankakee.
The next chance of snow is Saturday afternoon and evening when about 2.0 inches is forecast between noon and midnight.

Satellite images show that most of Illinois is under cloudy conditions. Clouds are expected to decrease today until 2:00 am., then increase with the approaching snow system on Saturday.
Gusty northwest winds to about 15 MPH forecast for tonight from about 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
