Snowfall for Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs is forecast to begin about noon Friday and continue until about 6:00 p.m. Saturday [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR].
Overnight snowfall from noon Friday to 5 AM Saturday is forecast to be 1.4 inch. An additional 5.4 inches is expected fall from 5:00 AM until 6:00 PM Saturday.
TOTAL ACCUMULATION Friday and Saturday is forecast to amount to 6.8 inches.
Higher accumulation is possible, and currently the target for highest accumulation — above 7 inches — is near I-88 and immediately south of I-88.
Naperville is currently forecast to accumulate about 7.2 inches of snow.
Winds are expected to be under 10 MPH from the South, Southwest and/or Southeast for all of Friday and Saturday.

EVENING…PRODUCING AROUND 1 INCH OF ACCUMULATION. THE SNOW WILL
INCREASE IN INTENSITY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING WITH A PERIOD OF
HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE AFTER SUNRISE SATURDAY. THE SNOW IS
