Chicago firefighters, paramedics and police responded about 1:25 a.m. Saturday to report of multiple victims shot at the southbound exit ramp from the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) to 71st Street. A man and two women were shot as they sat inside a 2008 Buick SUV that had broken down on the Dan Ryan Expressway ramp early this morning, according to Illinois State Police.

The SB Dan Ryan ramps to 71st Street opened just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday after it was closed for a shooting incident that injured three people.
As four occupants in the SUV waited for help, a black Dodge Charger with orange stripes drove up about 1:25 a.m. to the disabled vehicle. At least one person inside the black Dodge Charger started shooting, according to the Illinois State Police.
Three occupants inside the SUV were struck — a 27-year-old man driving was shot four times, a women was shot three, and another woman was shot six times.
One of the women, age 24, is pregnant, and the other woman is 19 years-old. State police released that the man was shot in his upper extremities, and the women were shot in their lower extremities.
A fourth occupant — a female passenger — was not injured.
The three gunshot victims were transported to Level I Trauma Center John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and Level I Trauma Center Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. All victims are in stable condition.
Some police activity was back at 67th Street. The SUV and victims were closer to the intersection of 71st Street and Lafayette Avenue.
