After multiple reports of freezing on surfaces in northern Illinois, the National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory. Numerous ambulance calls were dispatched tonight for people who had fallen in parking lots or sidewalks. The temperature has actually risen since 5:52 p.m. from 37 degrees to 39 degrees. The temperature is expected to remain above freezing until about 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Sunday might hit 40 degrees at about 4:00 p.m.
