Flight for Life Helicopter over Arlington Heights transporting a boy injured in a sledding accident in the northwest suburbs Friday afternoon.
UPDATE: The accident is believed to have occurred at Lions Park, 1200 Silver Lake Road, Cary (but this is not yet confirmed by officials).
A 9-year-old boy was seriously injured in a sledding accident in the northwest suburbs at about 4:00 p.m. Friday and transported by a Flight for Life medical transport helicopter to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
