Accumulation is expected to be about 0.8 inch on Martin Luther King Day/Monday. Clouds in Chicagoland are expected decrease to day until about noon, then gradually increase with Monday’s approaching Clipper that will bring less than one inch.

Parking lot snow mountains have people wondering about this season’s snowfall totals.
Gusty winds today up to about 32 MPH from the southwest. Gusts will decrease to about 22 MPH at about 4:00 p.m. and hold at 15 MPH to 18 MPH while shifting from the southwest to the northwest.
Satellite images show most of the Midwest is cloudy, except for extreme northeast Illinois, south-central Wisconsin, southwest Illinois, western Iowa and Missouri.
