Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:46 PM Wednesday of a theft at an office building at 171 West Wing Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took an unattended black briefcase from the lobby while the owner was getting their car from the parking lot. The black leather briefcase valued at $50 contained a black Sony lap top computer valued at $4,000, a black Apple iPad 5 valued at $700, and several endorsed business checks.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
