Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:00 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a man hanging from the second floor gutter after a ladder fell underneath him. A minute later the caller updated the information to 9-1-1. “The person is not real — there’s a Christmas decoration” inspired by Chevy Chase as Clark W. Griswold in Christmas Vacation.
