Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Kent County. Our primary response area covers from the eastern City Limits of Dover, Delaware along White Oak Rd to Kitts Hummock. Fire department apparatus consists of three fire engines, a rescue squad, a brush truck, a Haz-Mat unit with a decontamination trailer, a 27-ft Rescue/Fire Boat, 22-ft Rescue boat, 18-foot Rescue boat, two utility vehicles and a command vehicle. In 2012 the department’s average manpower to all calls was 16.5 people.
