Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE RADAR] shows light precipitation crossing west to east across southern Wisconsin. Snow is forecast to start about noon Monday with the most significant snowfall between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. About 1 3/4 inches of snow are expected by 9:00 p.m. Snow will linger, and another 1/4 inch of snow is expected by noon Tuesday.
Satellite images show most of the Midwest is under cloudy conditions. A clipper system is currently heading southeast over the Great Plains. Clouds are expected to decrease after 8:00 p.m. tonight and throughout the day Tuesday.
Strong west and northwest winds tomorrow.
