Chicagoland weather radar shows that all major snow has left the area bringing about 0.5 inch of snow. Current radar shows no significant precipitation images developing and no snow headed our way, but dry snow is still forecast for today. Another 0.3 inch of snow is possible by tomorrow morning at about 6:00 a.m. Snow showers may bring an additional 0.5 inch to 0.9 inch on Monday.

This time around we missed heavy rain, heavy snow and freezing rain, such as this aftermath in Lansing, Michigan.
Satellite images show cloudy conditions across the entire Midwest with some clearing in northwest Iowa. Clouds are expected to remain over Chicagoland throughout Sunday. Significant clearing of clouds is not expected until Tuesday about 1:00 a.m. when temperatures are expected fall near zero and hit zero or -1 by 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. The clearing will cause heat loss overnight, with wind chill down to -13 degrees. Winds will be shifting from NNW to West at about 7-10 MPH during the next 24 hours.
