Congratulations and many thanks to Arlington Heights Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3105 for their efforts on another successful coat drive — and the most successful actually.
The firefighters association would like to thank all those who donated 202 coats this year — surpassing the firefighters coat drive total from 2011 and 2012. For 2011, 2012, and 2013 IAFF 3105 has collected a total of 577 coats.
All coats have been distributed or will be distributed to local students in Arlington Heights School District 25 and less fortunate residents of Arlington Heights.
A special thanks to the crew of Arlington Heights Fire Station 3 — the Pride of the South Side for helping to inventory coats.

The coats were delivered today Westgate School, where school counselors will distribute them across District 25 to students and families prior to Christmas Break.
