Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:53 AM Friday to a report of a fire on the side of a house at 1154 East Greenbriar Lane Palatine, IL. Police arrived first and extinguished a small fire outside of a townhouse. Firefighters an outside pile of papers was on fire. No part of the structure was on fire.
An Arlington Heights fire engine on automatic response was held up. The first due fire engine from Palatine managed the incident.
