Six people are reported killed in Illinois after tornadoes struck Sunday. Gov. Pat Quinn declared seven counties a state disaster area, including Tazewell County.

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Emergency Department in Peoria treated 55 people for injuries related to the tornado that hit Washington, Illinois. Sixteen people were admitted with two in critical condition, as of the report from last night.
BREAKING NEWS REPORT from Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Report just in of a call for mutual aid for Washington, Illinois. Emergency services just called for help at 11:30 a.m. for their town: “town is leveled” with walking wounded. There is a call for Life Flight out of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Life Flight landing zone is at Washington High School. A second Life Flight is also responding.
Emergency services personnel and first responders are creating a list of people trapped in basements. The National Guard is responding and is expected to arrive by 2:00 p.m. CST.
There is also a report of phone lines down. Cell phone communications knocked out.
