The Weather Channel’s meteorologist Jim Cantore describes just a little about hurricane naming, and then the TMZ crew in Halloween costumes decides on a better way to name hurricanes.
Jim Cantore at the airport talks very little about the naming of hurricanes — only mentioning that he doesn’t name hurricanes, and that the naming is the responsibility of the International Meteorological Orgnization (IMO).
The best part of the clip is the segment from February 2011 in Chicago, when Cantore and his Weather Channel crew caught lightning and thunder on video while covering the blizzard
Maybe Jim Cantore helped name the “Thundersnow Blizzard” in Chicago thanks to multiple lightning strikes during the February 1 & 2, 2011 blizzard and because of this now famous reaction by The Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore.
