Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE RADAR] shows precipitation coming into northwest Indiana from Lake Michigan. There’s a chance of some snow flurries overnight from midnight to 5:00 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.
Satellite images show thin clouds over northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, clouds with associated lake snow over Lake Michigan, and clouds over Indiana. Clouds are expected to increase during the day and then decrease after 5:00 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

No snow for northwest suburbs, but the National Weather Service shows where the heaviest snow will fall: Northwest Indiana, Northwest Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Northwest Virginia.
Winds from the northwest at about 15 mph diminishing tonight. Gusts are expected at about 21 mph from 9:00 a.m. until about 3:00 p.m. when gusts diminish.
Today’s high of of 27 degrees will be accompanied by a wind chill of 15 degrees. Overnight wind chill is forecast at about 13 degrees at 5:00 a.m. That’s still unseasonably cold. Normal high is 42 degrees for today.
