Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:31 AM Wednesday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 1000 North Yale Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a white 2003 Chevy Express van that was parked on a residential driveway.
Reported missing was a 12″ miter box, two air compressors, a Makita drill, a Makita grinder, a Skil saw, a rotary hammer, a Bosch jig saw, a Rigid 1/2 drill, four Porter-Cable nail guns, a Rigid nail gun, a Milwaukee saws-all and additional unknown tools. There were no signs of force and the rear doors may have been left unlocked.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.
Another truck with tools was also burglarized recently on West Berkley Drive. The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday October 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, October 11, 2013 at 5:30 a.m.
