Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:45 AM Thursday to a report of crash with injuries and a car into a building at Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one person was injured in a sedan that hit a one-story office building. Firefighters rescued the victim from the sedan and checked for any possible injured victims inside the building. No injuries were reported inside the building.
A small SUV hit a large Mercedes sedan in the intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street. It appears the SUV was eastbound on Miner Street and the sedan was southbound on Arlington Heights Road, but this was not confirmed.
The sedan hit the building at 115 North Arlington Heights Road at the southeast corner of the intersection after the two vehicles hit.
Northbound Arlington Heights Road was blocked during rescue, vehicle recovery and towing. The crash was cleared by about 11:15 a.m.
The building showed significant damage of a brick wall. Village of Arlington Heights building officials immediately responded to the scene to check the extent of structural damage.
