Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE RADAR] is all clear at about 7:31 a.m. Satellite images show the trailing edge of clouds of the cold front that passed through our area yesterday are now in central Indiana. Another band of gray stratus and other clouds from Michigan to southeast Wisconsin to northeast Illinois to central Illinois and to Missouri. The trailing edge of stratus is currently in central Minnesota and western Iowa.
High today only 53 degrees between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Clouds will block the warmth of the sun and might produce a few sprinkles throughout the day — especially between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A stiff wind from the west of about 14 mph with gusts up to 21 mph are expected between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
