Chicago weather radar [LIVE RADAR] indicates small thunderstorms heading south and passing to the west of Arlington Heights. A larger storm has developed north of Cook County, and is expected to pass just to the east of Arlington Heights. The storms have been dissipating as they approach. Thunder is rumbling, but no severe is expected.
No Severe Thunderstorm Warning or Watch has been activated as of 4:45 p.m. Saturday. The storm crossing Lake Cook Road should affect all of Arlington Heights within the next 20 minutes.
Storms to the west have brought wet roads to the area of Route 53.
