Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:57 AM Saturday of a commercial burglary at Public Storage locker, 903 East Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized multiple storage lockers a storage business.
Unknown offender(s) cut the hasps to defeat the locks on nine storage units. Three unit renters have been contacted with two of them being unsure if property was taken. The third renter reported four wheel rims with winter tires missing (valued at $1,700), two Yamaha R1 motorcycle exhaust pipes missing (valued at $400) and one mid-pipe for the same motorcycle missing (valued at $200).
The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday September 6, 2013 at 6:10 p.m. and Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 8:56 a.m.
