Arlington Heights police received reports on Friday of a vehicle burglary at the parking lot at Frontier Park, 1933 North Kennicott Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received reports of two vehicle burglaries at Frontier Park, just north of Palatine Road. Unknown offender(s) shattered the front passenger side window on a black 2003 Jeep Liberty and removed a large white purse, valued at $30, which contained a checkbook and a Canon digital camera valued at $200. Two diaper bags valued at $200 total were also taken. The diaper bags contained kids’ floaties ($20) and action figures ($70).
Police also received a report that unknown offender(s) shattered the front passenger side window on a silver 2003 Honda Odyssey and removed a black purse valued at $500 which contained an Illinois driver’s license, credit/debit cards, a checkbook and $200 cash.
The burglary involving the Jeep Liberty is reported to have occurred on Friday, August 16, 2013 between 5:45 p.m.-6:40 p.m. The vehicle burglary involving the Honda Odyssey is reported to have occurred on Friday, August 16, 2013 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.
