Security video captures hospital lobby deliver on the floor in front of the registration desk at Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami.
Susana Privada and her husband, Carlos Saravia, walked into the hospital lobby at Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami on Wednesday because she had felt pains as she was showering 30 mnutes earlier and thought she should go to the hospital to be safe.
Privada was two weeks away from her due date, but while she was standing at the registration desk in the lobby, it felt as though the baby was already coming out. She lay down on the floor.
Minutes later Dayana was born with the help of nurse Libardo Lozano, who just happened to be walking into the lobby. Dayana Emperatriz, as she was immediately named, weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces. Mother and baby are doing so well, after the nurse was a little frightened at first because newborn did not immediately cry.
