Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:55 PM Wednesday to a report of a child in medical distress at McDonald’s 1920 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a child was being transported by parents to Northwest Community Hospital in their personal vehicle when the child’s condition appeared to involve greater distress. The 9-1-1 operator at Northwest Central Dispatch System instructed the parents to pull over at the McDonald’s while firefighter/paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighter/paramedics rushed to the scene and immediately transported the child Advanced Life Support to Northwest Community Hospital. The fire engine crew followed the rescue ambulance as part of the crew assisted in the ambulance during transport. No word on the condition of the child.
