Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:31 a.m. Sunday of a stolen truck at LoDan Electronics, 3311 North Kennicott Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a semi-trailer truck that was parked in a parking lot. Stolen was a 2005 Volvo cab with a white 2006 Wabash trailer.
Inside the trailer were 50 pallets of GNC multi-vitamins valued at over $100,000.
There were no signs of force, such as broken window glass, and the owner of the truck was the only key-holder for the truck.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 5:30 a.m. and Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 6:30 a.m.
