Police recently received reports of several bicycle thefts which involved at least one storage room burglary at Hancock Square Apartments, 299 North Dunton Avenue, and are seeking possible a connection to crimes that occurred at another Hancock Square apartment building in the next block at 200 North Arlington Heights Road. Police thoroughly checked surveillance video that could offer clues to the bicycle thefts.
During review of the surveillance video, police discovered that three offenders forcibly entered a first floor recreation lounge and cyber cafe, and caused damage of an unknown value in the 200 North Arlington Heights Road building.
The offenders were described as #1) a female/white in her mid-20s with bright red dyed hair, #2) a female/white in her mid-20s with long dark hair, and #3) a male/white in his early-to-mid 20s, gaunt build (or gaunt hair), light colored hair and a receding hairline. Images of the suspects were not released by police.
The offenders are of interest to police, who note the similar time frame of the Cyber Cafe burglary, the Recreation Room burglary and the storage room burglary/bike thefts.
It has not been confirmed that these offenders are the same offenders that took several bicycles from the apartment storage area.
The Cyber Cafe was burglarized on Friday, July 26, 2013 about 11:00 p.m. The Recreation Lounge was burglarized on Sunday July 28, 2013 at about 3:39 a.m.

I’m assuming these places are for residents only, right? If they got the bikes they’re prob on the N side of Chi by now. I do have a feeling from their descriptions they’ll be in custody shortly.
