The grill at American Legion Post 208 at Miner Street and Douglas Avenue, Arlington Heights (See more photos).
Daily Grind & Grille was at Frontier Days. Cupcakes taste just like homemade. Daily Grind & Grille has muffins and breakfast items as well as sandwiches, salads, chili, mozzarella sticks and pizza puffs. The restaurant is a local conglomeration of the former Biggby Coffee Shop and Campbell Street Hot Dogs. Look for Dryden Dogs and Aces Burger on Campbell Street, just west of Dunton Avenue.
Daily barbecues were also active among neighbors on Miner Street. They included grilled donuts, shish kebabs, cheddar brats and burgers from Thuringer Meats, 626 South Arthur Avenue, Arlington Heights.
American Legion Post 208 has a reputation for the best burgers at Frontier Days.
