A 37-year-old Schiller Park man has been charged with indecent solicitation of a minor, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced today.
About 4:45 p.m. on Friday, a Cook County Forest Preserve police officer conducting a routine patrol of Thatcher Woods in River Forest observed a female and a male with his pants down.
The case was turned over to Cook County Sheriff’s Police detectives for investigation. Investigators learned the female was a 15-year-old girl the man picked up in Maywood after she accepted an offer for a ride. The man, identified as Erasmo Rodriguez-Apreza, drove to Thatcher Woods and asked her if she wanted to perform a sex act for money.
