Cory Monteith, star of the hit TV series “Glee” when he portrayed Finn Hudson, was found dead in a hotel room, police in Vancouver, Canada said Saturday night. He was 31.
Glee star Cory Monteith, 21, was found dead at Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel Saturday.
Monteith checked into the hotel July 6, 2013 and was expected to check out Saturday July 13, 2013. When Monteith missed his checkout time at noon, hotel staff went to his room and discovered his body. He was found in a room on the hotel’s 21st floor.
Monteith checked into rehab for substance addiction in March 2013.
TMZ: Cory Monteith looked like a million bucks when we caught him last month at LAX with girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele. The “Glee” star had recently completed a month-long stint in rehab for admitted substance abuse issues. Cory was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday, alone, after spending Friday with friends. There are reports drugs may have played a role. He was 31 years old.
